Minute Culture - Het Land Nod of the FC Bergman collective

Last weekend, thanks to Snapchat, you followed us in Avignon where Anouk - from the customer service team - spent the weekend. She returns to the play that marked her. This piece of the Belgian collective FC Bergman is a surprise in any respect. The huge room where they occur is an identical reproduction of the Rubens room of the Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp currently under construction. Inspired by the place and its history (it had been seriously damaged during the Second World War), the troop tells the entirely silent scenes going from burlesque to melancholic, then to the psychedelic. the pitch ? The museum curator realizes that the main work of the room (the Lance de Rubens) is too large to pass the doors frame and be sheltered from what do you know. Then begins a hilarious sequence of trusted tests than each other to get it out. Passing visitors, often somewhat lost-Parchés, linger for reasons that escape us and participate in this complete rout.

Little by little, the universe is gloomy then liberating with a dance that carries us, electrifies us (recalling Keeping to himself of Godard). The piece goes to a universe between heaven and earth without losing sight of the chaotic situation of the conservative revealing machinery, breathtaking scenography. The palette of emotions is vast, few seconds of this representation of 1h15 will leave you indifferent.

In short, they will be in France in May 2017 at the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris, Patience! :)

Avignon in the middle of a festival has a fairly magical universe, I recommend it very strongly. See you soon !
