Our stylists always more inspired for the start of the school year!

For the start of the school year, we have chosen to please you with strong pieces, ever more desirable prints and carefully chosen details, as we like so much. Your favorite models are reinvented and new creations are emerging. This collection is also an opportunity for us to go always further in our responsible approach with our sweaters made to leave cotton 100% organic: a way for us to contribute to a fashion more respectful of the environment, of the human And to guarantee you quality products. The Balzac Paris team invites you to discover the inspirations of our stylists in an exclusive interview: What influenced you for this collection? Maria (stylist accessories): ON decided for the start of the school year to create a story by imagining a heroine who is going through the whole season. We therefore pushed reflection around literature and more precisely literary circles. For this start of the season, this woman evolves in a city environment where she can develop as a person within a group with the same inspirations. We also interested ourselves in the sororities which correspond very well to the DNA of Balzac Paris. Throughout our research, we have looked into the 18th century literary salons that faced the 21st century salons while keeping the essence of the time. They were used above all to exchange ideas. The search for excellence was very present and the good manners were always in order. This quickly brought us back to the literary spirit of Balzac Paris, to our responsible collections, and of course our concern to do well, our requirement for the quality of products, beautiful materials ... For this collection, the woman Balzac Paris is a female woman, city car, very attached to culture and philanthropic. Her locker room is both feminine, dynamic but always with a male-feminine side that makes her unique. In small touches, we find in its locker room authentic pieces: old pieces that it has been keeping for a long time. She keeps her values above all. Could you tell us about the trends of the season and present the collection and the strong pieces of this school year? Cécile and Marie-Camille (ready-to-wear stylists) : For this school year, it is the velvet that is the flagship trend of the season. We adapted it to the identity of Balzac Paris with always this male touch that we love so much and then we softened it with colors like blush pink, flower prints. It is this velvet print devoured with flowers which is for us a very strong piece. We find him on the Meg blouse, the Rachel skirt or on our dear Paolo pants! For this print, we were inspired by literary circles of the 18th and 19th century: we find these flowers inside the old books. Still in the literary spirit so dear to Balzac Paris, we wanted to keep this spirit that is both romantic and vintage. We find it in our blouses with very worked materials: mounting passes, tightened wrists, balloon sleeves ... The Billie blouse declined in three versions, the Clarence dress and the Louisa blouse are strong pieces that represent the spirit of this collection. Maria (stylist accessories) : On the accessories side, the Jacob bag is the flagship piece of this start -up always in this vintage spirit. We chose to decline it in black and cognac embossed. Embossing is a technique that we love to use for leather goods. Its varnish side gives it a lot of contrast and style. Its format makes it very practical, it can also be adjusted with a handle and its loop on the front allows you to close it easily. We can't wait for you to adopt it! Denise boots that exist in black and camel also have a fairly strong retro side and can be very easily worn on a daily basis. The novelty for this start of the school year is also the 100% organic cotton sweaters. What was your heart in this process? Catherine (mesh stylist): This season marks the start of our 100% organic cotton collection. Since 2015, we have been offering responsible collections: we wanted to go even further for this collection using materials without pesticide or chemical. Our sweaters therefore benefit from GOTS (Global Organic Standard textile) certification, global benchmark which respects very strict production rules and certifies the name “organic cotton”. The Gill sweater and the Olivier sweater each declined in black and ecru has this appellation. The other sweaters, however, meet strict criteria: labeled materials guarantee traceability, ethics and good working conditions. Another novelty, our highly appreciated cardigan Joachim was redesigned in a fancy stitch and in new colors. On the accessories side, new craft creations have emerged. Could you tell us more about their manufacturing process? Maria (stylist accessories): We have developed a new collar model using natural dried flowers and flowing in resin: this is our model Laël Made in Italy and which benefits from a short circuit. This technique is artisanal and manual: the background color of the medal is painted, each flower is then cut by hand and positioned in the mold then fixed with the resin. This manual process gives an irregular and therefore unique character to the room. The medal is then placed in a gold plated crimping with its chain. In the manufacture of this jewel, we mix two techniques that are important to us at Balzac Paris: crafts and jewelry. Finally, what would be the ideal back -to -school outfit that would perfectly summarize the collection? Marie-Camille (ready-to-wear stylist) : My ideal back -to -school outfit would be a small "working girl" look: the meg blouse in flower velvet, the racchel in flower velvet, the black caesarea bag (worn in a more drawn look) and the Denise Camel boots. Cecile (ready-to-wear stylist) : For my part, the ideal look of the collection would be: the Clarence Bordeaux dress in a studious spirit, Preppy, the Archie in pink velvet jacket, which brings a male touch to its slightly oversized volume. On the accessories side, the Jacob Cognac bag which enhances the silhouette and gives a sharp touch and the black Raoul moccasins for a classic diverted.
