ECONYL ® AGAINST OCEAN POLLUTION

We are never too TPR (Always More Responsible) at Balzac Paris. Our challenge for summer 2021? Imagine and create swimsuits from recycled materials, in particular thanks to an innovative material: Econyl®. This recycled polyamide made from fishing nets and fabric scraps is 80% less impactful for the climate than a conventional polyamide! It also reduces the volume of plastic waste in our oceans.

Our Hestia burgundy, Néréïde Océan, Roman noir, Moana and Panama plum swimsuits are made of Econyl®.

RECYCLED POLYESTER PASSION

It's a material that we often use at Balzac Paris, so it's obviously back for our new collection of eco-responsible swimsuits ! The latter consumes 30% less CO2 than conventional polyester.

Our floral Laia, striped Néréïde, floral Roman, striped Roman, Nérée and floral Moana swimsuits, duck blue Laia are made of recycled polyester.

ALL OEKO-TEX® LABELED

All our swimsuits are also made from materials labeled GRS and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, a label that certifies the health and ecological qualities of textiles, guaranteeing the absence of toxic products for the body and the environment!

AND MADE IN... NOT VERY FAR!

Beyond the composition of our swimsuits, it was important to us that they also be made near us! Thus, our new collection of swimwear is 100% European : the yarn comes from Slovenia, Italy and Ireland), the knitting takes place in Italy , and the printing and manufacturing takes place in Portugal !
