It is in Pantin, a new cultural meeting place, that our team has chosen to bring its new collection to life: the Cercle Balzac Paris. Inspired by the women animating the literary salons of the 18th century, this collection was designed for the curious, free and daring women of today.

A few centuries from the literary salons of yesteryear, Pantin has charmed us with its “New Cool” by imposing itself as a new driving force in the fields of art, theater and literature; where savoir-vivre rhymes with community. What if today's literary salons were finally hiding in this multicultural district?

“Pantin is above all an opening onto today's world. » Chrysoline from Gastines

Coming out of the metro, Porte de Pantin station, we come across a man playing the saxophone, then we walk a few steps to find a group gathered around young women dancing hip-hop in the street. In short, as you will have understood, Pantin is above all a large village which today defends “living together” and freedom of expression.

This district is also the expression of an authentic creative movement that refuses any convention. Dance, theatre, fashion, music, underground concerts and communal gardens, blend seamlessly in a very epicurean and avant-garde atmosphere, where sharing and exchange are valued. No doubt, Pantin is an unmissable cultural meeting place!

On the occasion of the launch of the Lookbook of the October collection , Chrysoline de Gastines, (Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Balzac Paris), tells us a little more about her crush on this multicultural district...

Why did you choose Pantin to shoot the new Balzac Paris collection? The Balzac Paris circle is a circle made up of inspired and inspiring women who are sensitive to living together and who like to discover authentic and avant-garde addresses. Pantin is a bit of all of this at the same time: a popular, united and committed commune.
