Choix de la robe, du bouquet, de la papeterie ou encore du traiteur, même en ce jour de fête, il est possible de faire des choix plus doux pour la planète !

Découvrez nos 10 commandements pour un mariage éthique & durable :

1 - an eco -designed dress you will wear

Your wedding dress, a priori, you will not wear it every day. So with unique, unique requirements!

What if it was designed near you? Many lace workshops are still active in France. For our wedding collection "The joy of living", ours comes straight from a workshop in the north of France! And concerning the overall design of dresses, we worked hand in hand with a Portuguese workshop.

But that's not all ! Today there are many T.P.R innovations (always more responsible) in the textile sector. Take a look at the composition of your dress : Organic cotton (GOTS certified), makes it possible to reduce its impact on global warming by 46% compared to a traditional cotton. The Naia, biodegradable material, or Sorona®, a polyesterBiosourced from corn glucose, produces 60% CO2 less than conventional polyester.

2 - A season bouquet you will brandish

Did you know ? It is estimated that around 85% of the cut flowers sold in France come ... besides! However, we have more than 3,600 horticulturalists and nurserymen in activity in France. This is an opportunity to honor them ... and throw flowers!

Favor artisans working with local and seasonal flowers. There is in particular the “Fleurs de France” label which favors a local culture, or the “Blue Plant” label which guarantees cultivation conditions in accordance with the Grenelle Environment Charter.

The dried flowers, which are not likely to fade, are also an alternative: you can offer your guests to take them with them after the ceremony!

3 - A creation of lasting high jewelry you will wear

The figures speak for themselves: a gold ring alone produces 20 tonnes of toxic waste and consumes around 50,000 liters of water! Our little finger tells us that this is not very T.P.R (always more responsible) ...

Even if it is not yet very popular in this sector, there are however ethical and sustainable jewelry craftsmen! However, fairly labeled FAIRMINED, traceability of stones, culture diamonds ... It is now possible to display a nice jewel by taking care of natural resources.

4 - A place of strategic reception you will eliminate

If we had to summarize the idea: the less it is, the healthier it is! A Paris-Marseille by car is 92 kg of CO2.

When you move a hundred people for a weekend, the ideal would not have them crossing all hexagon round trip ... You can first choose a place close to as many people as possible. And often it is your place of life, so you might as well highlight your region!

Otherwise, do not hesitate to favor transport by train or carpooling. If the providers are local, and the guests can find accommodation on site: you win the T.P.R medal (always more responsible)!

5 - A sustainable stationery you will select

Producing an A4 sheet of paper consumes on average 5 liters of water. First of all, theEco -responsible impression is the one we do not produce: only what really needs to be printed!

Beyond the traditional announcement, do we really need a menu on each table? Hop, we twist that with large catering paintings written in chalk. For the most digital, the use of a QR code in order to view the menu on its phone, is an original ... and sustainable alternative!

In printer, many solutions and indicators allow you to make T.P.R choices (always more responsible). : recycled or sown papers, vegetable inks, print'vert or fSC labels…

6 - A hired caterer you will choose

Goodbye the Bavarians mango-passion (even if it's very good): Favor committed providers who offer menus highlighting local, fresh and seasonal products.

Because yes: when you reduce the import of products, you limit greenhouse gas emissions due to transport! To go further, you can also choose a provider favoring organic, or Againly choose a menu partly vegetarian.

Ditto for wine: many wine merchants today offer biological, biodynamic, natural or vegan wines, and which have a number of great vintages!

7 - A durable decor you will install

Nothing is lost, everything… praises? Yes, the T.P.R decor (always more responsible), is above all the one you do not produce. Some rental providers are only hunted by the second hand: even better! A durable… and unique decor.

The classic “Nothing is lost, everything transforms” works too! For the most Picasso of you, this is an opportunity to embark on recovery, upcycling and other sustainable do it yourself.

PSST, we can also forget certain “disposable” decorative ideas: in the photos, it may be nice, but that is not for the planet! So this year, we put aside the release of balloons and the glasses in the form of a mess ...

8 - Local gifts to your guests you will offer

This day must remain engraved in memories: what memory will be able to take your guests?

We had mentioned the dried flowers, but in general, This is an opportunity to introduce the work of a local and committed craftsman: Vegetable candles, honey or jam of local producers, craft soap bread ...

At T.P.R wedding (always more responsible), T.P.R memory!

9 - A honeymoon not far from here you will do

Tahiti, the Seychelles, the Fiji Islands, does that make you dream? However, under the cobblestones, the beach ... has a sacred carbon footprint.

What if your honeymoon was made in Europe? You dreamed of a heavenly island like Bali: Corsica or the Greek islands stretch your arms! You imagined a visit to the Grand Canyon: Cap on the Provençal Colorado, its mini version full of charm. The Philippines landscapes were making your eye: direction the Gorges du Verdon. The list of European landscapes that transport you to the other side of the world is very long!

PSSST: If you want cocooning without making your suitcases to live this romantic moment, an attractive option is that of booking a relaxing stay in a spa not far from your home!

10 - The “Less is More” you will advocate!

"Did we really need to distribute glitter boats to guests?" : no not necessarily.

What if love with a big rhyme with the essentials with a great E? Goodbye to too sophisticated weddings, the key word of a T.P.R wedding (always more responsible) is above all ... simplicity!
